Szaloncukor is a traditional Hungarian Christmas candy, wrapped in shiny paper and often hung on the Christmas tree. This Microse version is a chocolate candy with a butter caramel flavour, made in Hungary and packed in a 350 g bag. In Slovakia and the Czech Republic it’s known as “salonky”, and in Romania as “bomboane”.
Hang the candies on the tree as edible decorations, put them in a bowl for guests, or use them to fill gift baskets and advent treats. They’re also a simple way to share a traditional Central European Christmas treat with family and friends.
